Tamassee Bookdrive

  1. Handbell Practice
    6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. (Fellowship Hall)
    NO practice this week. Regular practice will resume on Wednesday, March 27th at 6PM.
  2. Choir Practice
    7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. (Choir Room)
    The sanctuary choir practices every Wednesday evening in the choir room. If you enjoy singing and want to contribute to the worship service with this harmonic group, make plans to join us one evening.
  3. Men's Bible Study
    9:00 a.m. - 10:15 a.m. (Classrooms)
    Don't be intimidated; and stop putting off what you know you need - brotherly fellowship and serious Bible study. No "high pressure" situations here, just honest and reliable study of the sacred scriptures. Each study is marked by fellowship, prayer, discussion and application of the text to today's challenges. Current study is the book of Joshua.
  4. Women's Bible Study
    10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (Sanctuary/Classrooms)
    Join a group of fun-loving and devoted ladies as they spend time in fellowship, praise & worship, prayer and study. Each week begins with 15-20 minutes of praise & worship in the sanctuary, followed by prayer and dismissal to study groups. Many studies are video-based and discussion is facilitated by a volunteer leader. Come join the fun and grow in God's Word.
  5. Sunday Morning Worship
    10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (Sanctuary)
    Celebrate the Lord's day with family, friends and neighbors. Grab a cup of coffee or some juice and enjoy some light refreshments as you fellowship in the "Gathering Space" from 10:30-10:55. Then join fellow Christians as we unite our hearts in prayer, our voices in song, and our eyes and ears in the Word of God. Our current winter/spring sermon series is the Gospel of John.
  6. Prayer & Sunday School
    9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. (Classrooms)
    Prayer time begins at 9:30 as we give/receive updates to our prayer list and come boldly to the throne of our gracious God (Heb. 4:16). Sunday School begins at 9:45 as we study God's Word and share in discussion and application. Our current study is titled Pleasing God by the late R.C. Sproul.
  7. Loss of a Spouse
    10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (Fellowship Hall)
    The death of a spouse brings a unique kind of pain. People who are widowed haven't just lost a loved one - they've lost an entire lifestyle. That's why we're offering this FREE two-hour, video-based seminar and discussion group.   8. Tamassee DAR Golf Tournament
    8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. (Cliffs Valley)
    The 7th Annual Tamassee DAR School Golf Tournament will be held at The Cliffs Valley Golf Course on Tuesday, April 30th. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. with a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m. The deadline to register is April 22nd. The cost is $140 per player or $560 per foursome, and includes golf, light breakfast and banquet meal at the clubhouse. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.
  9. Alone on the Mountain?

  10. Tamassee Centennial Benefit Concert
    7:00 p.m. (Southern Wesleyan University)
    Tamassee DAR School and Southern Wesleyan University proudly present composer, producer, and concert recording artist Calvin P. Jones. Newton Hobson Chapel & Fine Arts Center on the campus of SWU in Central, SC. Tickets are $10 each (children 5 and under are FREE). Purchase tickets at

  12. Lunch Fellowship
    12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. (Fellowship Hall)
    Join us after worship on Sunday afternoon, March 24th, as we enjoy fellowship. The church will provide pot roast and green beans. Will you come and bring a side dish and/or a dessert. It's a wonderful time to meet new members and visitors, but also a great opportunity to share memories with old friends.

Sheriff's Office Bags

In celebration of our 150th Anniversary, we are trying to collect 150 emergency bags for the Greenville County Sheriff's Office for children taken into protective custody.  The bags need to zip or close, as they will be carried in the patrolman's vehicle.  The bag and all requested items can be purchased for under $30.  To download a complete list of the items click the following link:

Tamassee DAR Golf Tournament

The Tamassee DAR School is hosting its 7th annual golf tournament to support children and families in crisis through residential, educational and outreach services.

The tournament is open to the public and will be held at The Cliffs Valley golf club.  For more information, or to register, please click the following link:

Ladies' Bible Study

The ladies Bible study has resumed their regular schedule on Thursdays at 10:00 a.m.  Come join us in Praise & Worship at 10:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary, followed by a new study: Hinds' Feet on High Places.

Men's Bible Study

Come join our Men's Bible study as we read, investigate and apply God's Word from the book of Joshua to our lives.  This is a verse-by-verse study conducted by Pastor Lee.

The study meets on Tuesdays from 9:00AM - 10:15AM in the classrooms.
